Please read before booking your expedition
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip start date. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure: full refund minus a NOK 2,000 administration fee. Cancellations made 30–60 days before departure: 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure: no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Routes and itineraries may be changed at the skipper's discretion due to weather, ice conditions, or safety concerns. In the unlikely event that a trip is cancelled by Husky Sailing, a full refund or alternative dates will be offered.
Participants must be in reasonable physical health. Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. Travel and health insurance is mandatory for all guests.
Husky Sailing takes every precaution for passenger safety. However, sailing in Arctic waters involves inherent risks. By booking, participants accept these risks and agree that Husky Sailing is not liable for injuries or loss of property except in cases of gross negligence.
Guests are responsible for their own belongings. We recommend waterproof bags for electronics and valuable items. Husky Sailing is not responsible for damaged or lost personal items.
Svalbard is a protected wilderness. All guests must follow environmental regulations, including no littering, no disturbing wildlife, and staying within designated areas during shore excursions. Our crew will guide you on proper conduct.
